FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Bangor, Maine (January 18, 2023) – New England Fights (NEF) returns to the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine on February 11, 2023, with its next mixed-martial-arts (MMA) event “NEF 51: Banger in Bangor.”  Earlier today, the fight promotion announced the addition of an amateur bout to the card.  Cody “Dirty” Dular (1-1) will meet Miles Emery (0-0) in the heavyweight division.

Dular made his amateur debut with NEF last summer in Portland, Maine.  Dular laid a heavyweight beatdown on Nick McInnis (0-1) that evening that ended with a second-round technical knockout victory for Dular.  Dular made his return to the cage at “NEF 50” in November and suffered his first loss to Robert Gray (1-0).  He is confident he will overcome Emery on February 11 to get back on the winning track.

“I’ve heard about Miles through the grapevine and I’m not worried in the slightest bit,” said Dular.  “I’m ready to go to war. It’s going to be a banger for sure. You better be ready Miles because ‘Dirty’ is coming for you.”

Miles Emery will make his amateur MMA debut in the fight with Dular.  Emery currently represents Titan Athletics in nearby Brewer, Maine where he trains alongside MMA veterans like Bruce Boyington (17-12) and Devin Corson (3-1) who will also be featured prominently on the “NEF 51” card.  Emery promises an exciting performance for his debut fight.

“This fight is something I’ve worked extremely hard for,” noted Emery. “I’m excited to make my debut and show all the hard work I have been putting in. Get ready for a show because I didn’t come here to fight a boring fight.”

“NEF 51: Banger in Bangor” is scheduled for Saturday night, February 11, 2023, at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine.  Tickets are available now at  The event will also stream live on a pay-per-view basis at
